Twofer cards using the same background stamp

Lately some of my blog card making friends have been sharing cards using Magical Micas... so I was tempted to get them out and play.
I positioned the stamp in the Misti and inked it up with Versamark...  first time I just sprinkled on the gold embossing powder to get a lovely rich image.  So while it was in the Misti inked and made another stamped image and this time used a brush to add powder to the ink, then lightly misted with water (right image)  there was too much powder and it made a mess... so I did it again and then used a brush to clear away the excess and misted even more lightly with water (left image) and I used this one to make my white card.

As you can imagine it's very shimmery - so hard to photograph - I used a pink and a green shade in the Micas.  Then die cut a white card frame and used a die cut label from my stash for the sentiment....stamped in black ink and clear embossed and finished off with a couple of gems.... I used Versamark around the label and a dusting of green Mica.

For my black card and the gold embossed stamped image I used pink, yellow and green Micas to watercolour the flower images... then die cut the panel and attached to a black card with foam sheet behind... and finished off with a stamped and gold embossed sentiment on black card.

I am playing along with We Love Chocolate Baroque December challenge - Anything Goes.... I used a CB stamp.
Thanks for stopping by my blog  ---  have a Happy Day and stay safe
