Even with some card making this week I was still able to make two more yarn remnant squares .... you can tell I'm smiling because I'm sharing them with you...
And I even made a Twofer set of cards
Nancy choice for the February CAS Mix UP challenge was - Heat Embossing with a Stencil... so
I used some photographic paper and Versamark inked through the floral stencil and then Heat Embossed with Black Embossing Powder. Then I added Alcohol Inks to the images... started with yellow for the flower centres which was ok, till I added the red for the surrounds hoping to leave some area clear for some green around the leaves - the red took over pretty quick but I liked the results. Cut the panel in two and made a black card and a white one - Added a green layer on the black and used the same green card for my stamped and black embossed sentiment.
I am also playing along with STAMPlorations Never Ending Anything Goes challenge...

Wow! What a gorgeous background, Robyn! I love the drama of it on the black but then the brighter look of it on the white is awesome too! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
ReplyDeleteAMAZING saturated colours Robyn! This is a real "WOW" card(s) Looks great on both colours of backgrounds, but that lime green with the black really makes a statement! Thanks for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx
ReplyDeleteWOW- what dramatic cards - stunning colours Robyn, and really wonderful mounting of the panels too.
