A very old background from my stash, matched just lovely with the die cut flower I smooch water-coloured with Distress Inks.. along with a few green stems. Stamped and clear embossed the sentiment, trimmed the panel and layered with a dark coral on a white card....then attached the arrangement and added a few micro beads.
I am playing along with Just Add Ink challenge #542 - photo inspiration.... love the colours and greenery and of course I had to add a flower.
So pleased you could visit my blog... have a Wonderful Creative day, cheers

ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely Robyn. Your background is stunning to go with the die cut flower. I have seen Bonnie do something similar.
Will write sometime this week - I have had a hard time sitting still to pop off an email.

Well you sure made my life easier with this card, Robyn! I love flowers and buy a lot of flower stamps and dies, but over time I've realized that I love them on OTHER people's cards because I never know what to do with them. Critters are no problem, but flowers not so much. However, smooching I can do and I LOVE the way you cut the flower head with your smooched panel and then cut the stems with another green panel. Seriously genius!! Thank you!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite dies and I love how you've colored it, Robyn! The background works perfectly!
ReplyDeleteThat swirly background really complements the elegant flowing lines of your wonderful colourfully smooched flower Robyn! Thanks for joining us at Just Add Ink this week. Kim
ReplyDeleteI do love coral and this is beautiful with the deep coral flower over the soft stamping in the background. Those micro beads add some lovely texture and shine. Beautiful card Robyn! xx
