Of course I had to choose Water Lily for the
I stamped my image in grey ink and lightly watercoloured with Distress Inks then added detail with coloured pencils... added a touch of sparkle with glitter glue to the dragonfly and water ripples.
It's a large image and I finally decided to add the lattice frame... had to adjust and cut twice to change the sizing but with the little cut outs it lined up wonderfully. Trimmed purply pink card to highlight the frame and attached to a white card.... enough busyness so I left off a sentiment so the card can be used for any occasion.
Thanks for visiting --- have a Wonderful Weekend - cheers

ReplyDeleteRobyn you sure do wonderful painting -- really pretty. Like the idea of the glitter glue in the water ripples. I used to much Stickles on the butter flies on my last card and they pop too much - a little goes a long way!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card!!
