Wishing You a BERRY Happy Birthday

A bit of fun with Embossing Folders this afternoon for the

Let's Squash It!  challenge 18 - Emboss/Deboss

Firstly I selected that very old Cuttlebug EF - Swiss Dots and embossed on white card.  Then I flipped it to the debossed side and used a brayer to colour the whole surface with Distress Oxide: kitsch flamingo.

Then I embossed the panel coloured side up with Rose Leaf EF from Ultimate Crafts.   Then coloured the raised leaves and berries with Distress Oxides: bundled sage, mowed lawn, festive berries.  Used scraps of paper as masks to try and keep the pink areas cleanish.

The printed a sentiment on the computer and attached to the panel with a red card layer and fixed this to a white card

Then I read the brief properly and I was supposed to use the same EF.... oh well, thought I'd still join in the fun and I'll have another look at my EFs and create another card.... sorry Jo and Gail
Thanks for stopping by my blog,   enjoy your day,   Cheers Robyn
