Some fun making Christmas cards and another Ombre card

Firstly I finished off my second Ombre card for the Group of Seven Cardmakers prompt for this month

Blended some Distress Inks - Squeezed lemonade, Fossilized amber, Ripe persimmon, Festive berries and decided to use it as is - Die cut in white card with Torn Edge die to create a frame and then attached a die cut flower (never used Kaisercraft Small Succulent) and a die cut 'Hello'.  I'm joining in the fun at NBUS #70 too.

Then just before Christmas we had the girls for a sleepover and of course they like to play with Nanas stuff.   So I showed them how to make cards with the cardboard toilet rolls

Here are mine I finished off this week....

Enjoyed some time making cards today....

The Group of Seven Cardmakers first showcase for 2025 and the theme is Ombre design element.

This is a really fun technique - gradually blending colours - of the same hue or different.... I played with my Distress Inks - Squeezed lemonade, Fossilized amber, Tumbled glass and Cracked pistachio. Created the blended background and then die cut Sizzix Cut Out Leaves on a white card panel and finished off with a stamped embossed sentiment.
