Blended some Distress Inks - Squeezed lemonade, Fossilized amber, Ripe persimmon, Festive berries and decided to use it as is - Die cut in white card with Torn Edge die to create a frame and then attached a die cut flower (never used Kaisercraft Small Succulent) and a die cut 'Hello'. I'm joining in the fun at NBUS #70 too.
Then just before Christmas we had the girls for a sleepover and of course they like to play with Nanas stuff. So I showed them how to make cards with the cardboard toilet rolls

Here are mine I finished off this week....
With these cards I'm joining in the challenge #94 at Christmas Kickstart - Bring the Baubles.
Beautiful warm ombre colours, thanks for trying out the technique with us at GOS ♥
ReplyDeleteI love your little watercolour Christmas baubles :)
Oh, Robyn, what a wonderful selection of cards. A beautiful ombre card and your bauble cards look amazing! Your girls are so beautiful and obviously following in Nana's crafty footsteps! I love the colour combos and the placement of the ornaments - it's something I really struggle with! Hugs, and thanks for playing at Christmas Kickstart with our CCC friend Julia and me, Jo x
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year, Robyn! Your floral design is stunning with the white flower against that ombre sunset-colored background! But I have to say, the girls stole the show! How fun to craft with them and ALL of your ornaments are brilliant! I love the idea and must check it out further! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful Ombre background for your lovely inked die cut blooms Robyn - and your baubles are just beautiful with the toilet paper roll inked rim and watercoloring - such a fun activity for your grands and they did a beautiful job! Thanks for sharing with both the GO7 and Christmas Kick Start - Baubles! Julia xx
