Love to play along with
Power Poppy Power and Spark challenge and this month it is a Pop of Colour with basic Black and White..... I had forgotten Christine had used pink in her lovely inspirational card and it just happened to be the colour I chose as background to my black stamped magnolias. I stamped my image twice off the page and then stamped on my sentiment. I had some fun trying to get a 'blended' look with my watercolouring using Distress Oxide but I am happy with the result. I added a tiny bit of bright pink to the flower centers and decided to have a go at 'ghosting' my sentiment (I only recently read about this technique), then to finish added a scattering of tiny black gems.
