Friday Smiles

Share a smile...Happy Friday Smiles everyone --- Week 182 over on Annies blog so if you have some happy moments to share please pop over and join in.
This week I've had lots to smile about so I'm sharing a few photos.....
our son Ryan celebrated his birthday, so of course there had to be cake
and what little ones don't love candles and cake
Sophie was eager for her slice of cake - we tried our hand at the checkerboard layering!!
AND then another cake - Lego this time for Ryan to take to his workmates
We met with the grand daughter for lunch in the park - here are the fun loving Nannie and Pa at the swings.
And I've had a happy busy time in the garden trying to restore the place after all the building
Still working on my water feature garden at the base of the front stairs

And down the back under the mango tree - some reshaping and planting
At the back steps - new brink edging and plants - these poor devils have been struggling along in pots for 12 months or so
And lastly we need to replace lawn underneath the backrooms where it was not going to grow, so we've been working on using up the pavers.
That's all for this week, hope you have a wonderful weekend, Cheers

  1. Thanks for joining in the fun this week. We are few and far between today so it's lovely to see all your smiles for this week. Lovely family celebrations and what fab cakes. Your garden is coming along nicely.

  2. I love the look of that checky cake Robyn, it looks scrummy. No wonder you're all smiling, looks like you've had a great week. I'm enjoying watching your little water garden grow too. Have a great weekend with lots more smiles, Angela x

  3. You have been busy Robyn! Great to see all of your smiles...enjoy your weekend, hugs Vikki R x

  4. Hi Robyn, Those cakes look good enough to eat:)

Looks like you all had a fun time at the park.

Love your garden and looking forward to seeing your water feature when it is finished.

Hope you have a lovely weekend. Sue

  5. Love the work you have been doing on the garden Robyn. Great cakes for the birthday boy too - and fun for the grandparents at the park - all in one post. What a lovely time you have been having in that glorious weather of yours (ours has been terrible - no summer really).
Did you know Shaz in Oz has been very poorly. Would tell you more if I had your email addie - can you send it to my blog and I won't publish.
    Hugs, Neet xx

Thank you for taking the time to comment, all encouragement and inspiration is very welcome. May your day be a happy and extra special one, cheers Robyn
