Merry Christmas

It's a public holiday here in Queensland and I am having a relaxing day at home by myself... so you can see I've been making cards. It is Marsha's All About Christmas theme Anything Goes at Watercooler Wednesday challenge and the new  October theme at Christmas Cards All Year is - Monochromatic Browns.... that was quite tricky for me to do but I have a card.  I found some designer paper with a Christmas theme in browns and decided to keep it simple with a curve cut and a plain light brown for the bottom to display my die cut sentiment.  I inked this with  Vintage Photo Distress Ink, water sprayed it and when it was dry - misted with Perfect Pearls.  To finish the card I die cut a scattering of gold stars with one for the tree top.  Thanks for taking a peek

  2. Oh Robyn, how elegant and absolutely stunning! I love the monochromatic look to your card. The browns, beiges and golds work beautifully together. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  3. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week Robyn. Great design on your card. I'm loving that curve and the combination of papers. It's not easy doing monochromatic cards, especially a non-traditional Christmas colour like brown, but you've done a great job here!
