This fortnight at The Male Room #83 the challenge is 'Symmetry' - great inspiration for the DT, so I had a good rifle through my stamps and decided these hot air balloons would fit the theme. I stamped two and fussy cut them out, then water coloured them with Brushos. I used a background panel recently made by brayering the leftover ink on the roller onto a water misted card. Then I sponged on a landscape horizon and stamped on a tree line. The finish I framed the panel in green and attached to a red card, and added my stamped sentiment. I am also playing along at Watercooler Wednesday WWC166 - Kath's Masculine "Anything Goes" challenge. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day.
These hot air balloons really do have great symmetry Robyn and look excellent on this beautiful card. I like the effect of the roller and rushed on background. You've created such a wonderful scene. Awesome card! Thanks for sharing with us at this week's Masculine "Anything Goes" challenge at Watercooler Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteWhat brilliant colours you've used on those wonderful hot air balloons, Robyn! I love that splattered background and the suggestion of ground and shrubbery. Great scene. The bright red and green borders really set the card off beautifully. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
