Two cards featuring Leaves


This month for Darnell's Twofer Card Challenge #9 the theme is Leaves.   So I selected one leaf from a set and used this to make my two cards.
 My first card features the leaf randomly stamped in different colour of Distress Ink over a white background panel.    Then I stamped two separately and fussy cut them.  To finish I attached a coloured band across the card and stamped on my sentiment.

 My second card is a more clean and simple design.  I chose to stamp the leaf in different green pigment inks and clear them before I fussy cut them out.  I used a plain cream card and arranged the leaves along one edge and to finish stamp on my sentiment.

    Robyn, these are both so lovely! Your fiery coloring for the background of your hello card really evokes fall! I love the popped up leaves and the way you did your sediment panel! (You should edit your post to also enter this one in the Uniko challenge!) And I love your CASlicious get well card with the tumble of leaves as a border element! The shades of green are luscious against the cream and what a great idea to clear-emboss them! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #9! Hugs, Darnell

    Two beautiful leaf cards Robyn. LOVE the watercolour leaves on your first card. The autumn colours are so bright and beautiful. Great design! And your second card is gorgeous (I do love CAS designs!), with the different shades of green leaves overlapping each other down the edge of the card. BEAUTIFUL!     The vibrant fall colors on the first card look stunning and the popped up leaves give it the right amount of dimension. The green, glossy leaf border cascading down the side of your CAS card is beautiful! Lovely designs!
