With Love

Finished off a few WIPs these last couple of days and now with some quiet time I'm able to get them posted.  First I have a card for the CAS Mix Up September challenge - Ink Stamps with Markers.
I used my very old and depleted Tombow markers to colour my outline rose stamp... three shades of red for the flower and two for the leaves.... very lightly misted with water before stamping onto the white card. Then I scribbled the markers onto a plastic worksheet and used a damp brush to pick up the colours and 'roughly' paint the image.  Then I used a stitched rectangle die to cut the image panel, backed it with a metallic rose coloured paper and also used this to die cut my sentiment.  To finish I dry embossed the background panel for some texture.  I used Markers, die cuts, embossing folders, water colouring and stamping on my card.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.

  1. What a pretty card. The rose looks fabulous using that fun technique. Love the beautiful flower against the clean and crisp white. The metallic rose card looks great too with the framing and die cut. All finished off with the dry embossed layer.....Fabulous card and wonderful addition to the gallery at The CAS Mix Up....Thank you x.

  4. Such a rich card, that rose is spectacular. The dry embossed background add to this single stem flower. The metallic matting and word die are perfect.
