Today I have another card and a reminder for the
you have until Feb 24 to have a bit of fun with your stencils and join in.
For my stenciled panel I simply placed my heart stencil over white card and carefully sprinkled on Magical Micas in Peony Scarlet and Bells of Ireland.. and lightly spritzed with water... the colours are so sparkly (hard to capture in a photo). I trimmed off a strip from the larger panel, dry embossed a white background panel with mini hearts and finished with a stamped sentiment in grey ink.
Of course I couldn't resist making a reverse panel..... so once I removed the stencil with the damp powdered ink on it I carefully placed a panel of white card on top and pressed down lightly with my hands. I've been a bit distracted this last few weeks with our flooding and clean up so haven't managed to make any cards with these pieces.... yet!
Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it
and if you have a moment pop over to the CAS Stencil blog and check out the DT cards...
lots of fabulous inspiration
So very pretty and love the different colours from only the two colours of Lindys. Such a romantic card, which is so unique and beautiful. Hope you are managing to go forward after the floods? x
ReplyDeleteLOVE your card Robyn. The stenciled hearts are so pretty using both pink and green magicals. And I love your monoprint ... that is going to make some beautiuful cards as well! The dry embossed tiny hearts make a wonderful background for your stenciled panel. Gorgeous CAS design, my friend! Hoping the clean up is going well and you'll soon be making cards in abundance! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely idea to mix a little of that green (great name - Bells of Ireland!) with the red on your hearts Robyn - the embossed hearts on the white give great texture to your card! Hope your clean up is done soon and you can get back to creating! xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful hearts, Robyn! Love these colors and the sparkle with the great layout and matching sentiment!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful stenciled positive and monoprint backgrounds, Robyn. TFS your close up with the gorgeous Magicals shine. I love how you added pink and green Magicals for wonderful scattered bits of color. Hope your clean up is going to be done soon and that you did not have too much damage. Will be looking forward to you catching up with more beautiful inky creations. Hugs..Nancy
