Well it's mid month already and time for a reminder to play along with the
Alcohol Inks/ Alcohol Lift technique
So for my second card for this months challenge I am only using Alcohol Inks with my stencil (no lifting). I used photographic paper and a wadded dry baby wipe to apply the yellow and orange Alcohol Inks to the flower stencil - it looks a bit streaky like real petals. Then I fashioned a small shallow dish and added a few drops of blue AI and a few of Blending Solution and used a paint brush to paint in the background (repeated the mix a few times so the AI wouldn't evaporate too quickly)... I used the leftover and a few more drops of BS for a paler blue to reach into the center more. The photographic paper absorbs the AI quickly so the ink doesn't move about - hence the streaks. I trimmed the panel and used foam sheet to mount it to a white card and and to finished stamped on my sentiment.
Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it and do hope you will get a little bit inky and share your creations with the team at CAS Stencil..... happy card making
