Just Wanted to Say....

My Thought for the Day

Well I haven't made a layered card in ages and this one didn't start out to be that.... first I stamped the large poppy image 'off the bottom edge' of my white card front in brown ink ... and coloured it with coloured pencils.  There was far too much white card and in the end I decided to use a circle die and partial die cut a window and finished off fussy cutting around the fern and bluebells.  Next I stamped a few more images on scrap from the same stamp and pencil coloured these and fussy cut them.  Then I arranged these behind the window in two layers and backed the opening with pale blue card.  Trimmed the front panel and layered it onto mid blue card leaving space at the bottom to stamped and white emboss the sentiment, and attached this to a white card with foam sheet.  To finish I added a few sequins.

I am playing along with Watercooler Wednesday WC256 - Kath's "All About Occasions" challenge   I like that my sentiment could be used for a number of occasion with the rest of the greeting inside the card  ...   AND  ...  The Daring Cardmakers - Layer It Up challenge.
Thanks for stopping by my blog  --- have a Happy Day
