I made this card this week and mailed it off to my mum today... she lives in another state and I don't see her very often... we did have plans to visit in November when it's her 90th Birthday, so hopefully things might have settled down by then and we'll be with her to share lots of hugs.
I masked and stamped the camellias a number of times on a stitched rectangle, then used Distress Inks to watercolour them. I blended grey ink around the bare edges and stamped the sentiment in black. To help bring out the colours of the flowers I added two strips of card along one side
I am playing along with Watercooler Wednesday WWC268 - Dawn's All About Occasions challenge.
Thanks for stopping by my blog ... have a Happy Day and stay safe
