Heat embossing resist

How was your weekend??
Well it felt like a lazy Sunday here... but in actual fact I got four loads of washing done and dried..  because yesterday's drizzly cold weather has turned into a sunny Autumn day... bit cool but breezy for the washing...so I'm a happy person getting some crafty time too.

I was every bit inspired by this inspirational photo over at Just Add Ink #506 challenge --  great the colours - a lovely combination I would not think to use.

I started stamping the white flowers with Versamark and heat embossing with white embossing powder.  Next to get aubergine colour I mixed two shades of Distress Oxide ink on a small flower stamp and one by one I stamped and heat embossed with clear EP.  Then with a sponge I blended over Crushed Olive Distress Ink - and wiped away the excess when dry with a baby wipe.  I used blue DI to sponge in the bottom of the panel..
I die cut two vase in navy and purple card and used an embossing pen and clean EP to add dimension to the jars...and to finish stamped on the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by my blog  ----    have a Happy Day and stay safe

  5. Oh how creative! Love what you did to the vases, Robyn! That sentiment is so true right now, unfortunately! If only people cared as much about others as they do themselves & were willing to believe the facts!
