Happy Birthday

there has been some changes to the format
with CAS Stencil and CAS Watercolour now part of the one month challenge....
pop over and check it out.

I started out playing with some old Drawing Ink on photographic paper...  dropped ink on the paper and spritzed with water... it's beautifully bright and with the vellum over the top nice and soft... so I stamped and gold embossed the birthday sentiment on the vellum and die cut a frame in white card then used foam sheet to attach to a white card.

I am playing along with CAS Mix Up June challenge - Embossed Vellum - my elements are vellum, stamping, heat embossing, die cutting, Ink   ----    and  ----  AAA Birthday game #14 - Use Vellum

Thanks for stopping by my blog   ---   have a Happy Day and stay safe

Card Recipe
Stamps: Kaisercraft - Wildflower (sentiment)
Dies: Poppy stamps - stitched rectangles
Inks: Avant-garde Drawing Ink, Versamark
Other: Vellum, gold embossing powder, photographic paper

  1. So clever Robyn the way you covered the very bright background with vellum to tone down the colors and then added the beautiful heat embossed gold die cut sentiment and white die cut frame. TFS your beauty with us at CAS Mix Up. Stay safe and Creative, my friend. Hugs...Nancy

  5. That's a fabulous way to use vellum and solves the problem of how to adhere it beautifully. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards, hope to see you join in with future challenges too. Stay safe and keep crafting!
