Relax and Restore

I'm thinking we all could do with a bit of a break to ease our restricted lives these days...
so my card is for you my friends

To get my mojo flowing sometimes I'll just get out my coloured pencils and an image and I'm off..... for this orchid I first stamped the image in Distress Ink Old Paper and then gave it a light water wash - green on the leaves and light pink on the flowers, then with the pencils added depth and detail.  I stamped the sentiment and die cut it with a circle die and then a larger grey circle to highlight it on the card.  To put it all together I used a green card base and a darker green layer to frame the panel.

Thanks for stopping by my blog   ---  have a Happy Day and stay safe

Card Recipe

  2. Beautiful colouring
Beautiful coloring Robyn - I have heard of using copics (which I don't have) as a base layer for pencil colouring, but had never thought to use my trusty water colours - thanks for the inspiration. Your card is a joy to behold.
I hope you are not in the newly locked down areas!
    Stay safe
    Blessings
