I do love this old wood mounted owl stamp and he hasn't been out of the drawer some time... so I've used him for a male card. Stamped the image in grey ink and used pencils to colour him, smudging some purple into the background with blotting paper. I die cut a rectangle from purple card as a winder and stamped and gold embossed the sentiment along the bottom before attaching to a white card.
I am playing along with Watercooler Wednesday WWC285 - Karen's challenge - Anything Goes with a Masculine Twist.

ReplyDeleteAmazing, Robin! I absolutely love the image of the owl but it's your ability to colour it in such a way that it comes to life which makes this card so perfect. Love your paper colour choices and the design. Simple but absolutely gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing with us for our Watercolour Wednesday Challenge this week.
