I have had loads of fun recently creating these pattered paper backgrounds - for this one I've used a largish flower stamp and single leaf, stamped randomly and heat embossed with white embossong powder....then added Distress Inks with a dry baby wipe and spritzed liberally with Pearl Ex (- added some Interference Gold to water in a spray bottle) - the effect was to blend the DI and add a gorgeous shine to the whole surface. Trimmed the panel and attached to a white with a stamped and white embossed sentiment on metallic red paper.
Thanks for stopping by my blog ---- have a Happy Day and stay safe
Stamps: Stampendous - Fresh bloom, Stampin' Up - Summer Solstice (leaf), Altenew - Wishing you (sentiment)
Dies:
Inks: Versamark, Distress Ink - Abandoned coral, Mustard seed, Shabby shutters, Peeled paint
Other: white embossing powder, Perfect Pearls mixed spray - interference gold
So pretty, Robyn! I love all the shine you've achieved and the lovely colours you used! A wonderful background! Thanks for joining us at the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week. Take care!:)
ReplyDeleteWow! Love these bright colors and all that shine, Robyn!
ReplyDeleteAnother terrific card with this lovely stamp! Can't wait to "case" this shimmery coral version. (The red/blue card redo came out really well.)
ReplyDeleteThank you for adding beauty and inspiration to this unsettled time. Stay well, Ms. Robyn..
Gorgouse card Robyn. Love that luscious gold shimmer. Thanks for joining us at the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week. Tristan DT.
ReplyDeleteWoah Robyn, what beautiful results you got with the Pearl Ex! I haven't used a spray bottle but I might have to give that a try. I have a whole box of them and it's been a while since I've taken them out. Your creation inspires!
