Back today to play along with the TWOFER Card Challenge #32 - Silhouettes. There are so many fantastic cards by the DT and at first I was miffed about which stamp to use until yesterday I opened a drawer looking for another stamp and there in the back was this large silhouette floral wood-mounted stamp
This bright background made with Brushos was perfect for the wildflowers - stamped in black ink and heat embossed with black EP... mounted to a black card and finished with a stamped sentiment on a blue card strip.
This gorgeous little background piece fitted so nicely with the black of the silhouette... I think it's Distress Inks not sure of the colours... both the floral and sentiment stamped and heat embossed with black ink and EP and attached to black card for a frame and mounted on a mustard card.

Silhouette stamps are the best for using up those background panels we accumulate during our inky plays, as you show so well, Robyn! I love wildflower silhouettes especially and how well they look in black against any color. I'm so glad you found this one and thank you for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #32! Keep safe! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful silhouette stamp, Robyn! Love both backgrounds that are so bright and pretty!
ReplyDeleteYour silhouette wild flower meadows are fabulous, Robyn ... the first is so sunny and warm and summery ... and the second with the brusho background is deliciously dramatic ... looks like an autumn sunset! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you happened upon that wonderful silhouette stamp! It is beautiful and so perfect for both of your backgrounds! Brusho backgrounds are one of my favorite, but many times mine come out too muddy, so I am doubly impressed with yours! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
ReplyDeleteWhat contrasting cards and yet with the same image - great work Robyn, as both are stunning. Love silhouette stamps like those, and you have showcased them beautifully against the backgrounds.
ReplyDeleteStay safe
Blessings
Maxine
Your silhouette cards are both beautiful, Robyn! I LOVE the way you've used your brushos. The blue and orange are so perfect together and look amazing with the black, heat embossed silhouette. Your second card is a gorgeous mix of shades of yellow with black. Again, another great colour combination. xx
