Two Daisy Cards

The Twofer Card Challenge for March is Open to Your Choice.. so I have chosen  Daisy die cuts

My first card I used the die cut printing technique they are challenging over at CAS Mix Up March Watercolour challenge.... only for me I used Versamark and white embossed the prints on a green smooched background from my stash - then die cut another in white card and to match the white I also white embossed the flower and then used green embossing pen and clear EP on the stem....I added yellow embossing pen to the flower centre and embossed it too.  To finish I stamped and silver embossed the sentiment and counted with foam tape.

For my second card I die cut 5 daisies and watercoloured the centres with Distress Ink and trimmed off the stems.  I stamped my lady in a hat image in black and watercoloured with DI.  Then arranged the elements on a red card and added a purple border to the stamped panel

I really like both card, and the second I left with the stamps' sentiment thinking you could add any occasion sentiment inside
So happy you popped over to my blog - have a Wonderful Creative weekend.

  1. Both of your cards are awesome Robyn!! Your birthday card is absolutely beautiful!! I love how you did the embossed daisy over your background and then added the die cut one over top...striking!! And your red & purple card with the added daisies is SO fun and is sure to delight the recipient for whatever occasion you choose to send it for! Thanks so much for sharing both of these beauties with us at The Twofer Challenge!! :0)

  2. You're so good, Robyn! I just had to stop here and admire these two utterly fabulous cards. Your birthday card has the most beautiful background with the brilliant idea of using Versamark for your print making! That's a 'must try' for me! And then your red hat lady makes the most fun card for any number of occasions. I just love it!

  3. I love your choice of daisies, Robyn, and how you created your own print by white heat-embossing on a pretty green smooched background and then adding the thick textured white heat-embossed daisy over the top! It's a stunning birthday design! I also love just the flower heads as embellishments for your fun Emerson red-hat lady design! I just had my Emerson stamps out today ~ they never fail to make me smile! Thank you for playing in TCC #36! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell
