Spring Wishes

Playing with embossing folders again today... this one I've not used before from Simply Cards & Papercraft mag - Birds of a Feather... also the stamps that I used.
  • Embossed white card panel
  • Watercoloured with Distress Inks - gathered twigs, mustard seed, salty ocean, mown lawn, spiced marmalade, seedless preserves, peeled paint
  • Stamped the bird and nest with antique linen and watercoloured with the same DI plus speckled egg, broken china, and fussy cut them out and attached with foam dots

 also with NBUS challenge #27

Thanks for visiting....  have a Wonderful Weekend, cheers

  2. You have done a great job of coloring this embossed image, Robyn! I love the added dimension from cutting another bird and nest and popping them on top!

  4. Good gosh Robyn - at first I thought the flowers were die cut -- love the colors you used on them. And your no line water coloring - perfect. I have tried using the antique linen for a no line look but so far I have not been successful! I love the technique you used to pop the bird and nest off the card. Bravo!

  7. I'm so impressed, Robyn! When I try and paint an embossed scene, I usually goober it and splat paint off the sides of the bumps. You have a steady hand and you've made a very pretty card! Thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell
