Twofer Cards featuring Sunshine

Just in time to play along the June Twofer Card Challenge #39 - Sunshine - 
I have used a little cloudy sun stamp from Sheena's Sea View Collection

For my first card I stamped the sun on a white card panel and also the yacht from the same set, then masked and watercoloured the sea and sky line with Distress Inks and then the yacht and sun.  It was a bit bare so I stamped the island palm trees .  To finish, stamped the sentiment and framed the panel with navy blue edge on a white card.

My second card was a totally scene creation to go with my die cut bicycle from my stash.... used the sun stamp and masked off the sun and stamped the clouds again and  watercolourws the sky.  I used a texture stamp for the ground and watercoloured it too.  Then stamped on the trees and grass.  I computer generated the sentiment and attached the panel to a light brown card with darker brown border.

    I like your sunshine Twofer, Robin. And I am glad you did it on time to join our gallery. Both cards are awesome with totally different scenes and design. Cloudy sun is a great stamp. Sea and landscape are fabulous colored. Both cards will also work fantastic as a picture on the wall. :-) Thank you for joining us at TCC #39. Sonja

    LOVE the sunshine stamp you used for this challenge Robyn...I've never seen that one before! You did an amazing job creating both scenes using that stamp...your seascape looks so peaceful and tranquil, and I wouldn't mind being there right now! Or the countryside scene either (loving that bicycle by the way!!!!!)...both are so beautifully water colored and will definitely bring a smile to the recipients faces!     I'm so in awe of you card artists who can create wonderful watercolored/stamped outdoor scenes that look like they were painted freehand on canvas! They are both sensational, Robyn!     Now let me get this straight - you have already walked a couple of miles today, worked in you beautiful garden, cooked dinner , crocheted another square for your rug and managed to make this two delightful cards! Oh how I wish I was as young as you are again! I love your cards Robyn especially since I live at the beach!!!
