Couple of cards featuring the Gof7 technique - Inked embossing

Boy!!! do I get sidetracked from finishing a couple of cards that have been on my desk for weeks... so seeing as there's only 2 days left of February I made myself sit still and put them together.

The Group of Seven Cardmakers played with adding ink to dry embossed images

I found these orangish backgrounds in my stash and embossed them.
My first card used a 3D embossing folder and white ink blended over the embossing.

For my second card I used a regular EF and orange ink blended over...  I added darker orange to the left side and topped the right with some white to lighten it

Thanks for stopping by my blog
Have a wonderful day, Cheers Robyn

This is why I've been distracted...

  5. Two STUNNING orange and white dry embossed cards Robyn. Love your layout and designs with the pretty die-cuts over top. Thanks so much for sharing your cards with us at Group of Seven!! Amazing mandala blanket. I'm sure that was a challenge with all the different shapes and colour changes. It's really beautiful. You are multi-talented, my friend. xx
