Some Birds for Christmas...

Happy Easter to you all...

I forgot how much I enjoy the peace of watercolouring.... I so enjoyed that today, using my Distress Inks to watercolour this Christmas tree full of birds for the Walking in a Whimsical Wonderland challenge over at Jingles Belles challenge

and this card fits with the Triple B April challenge ... to include birds, butterflies or blooms on your card.

and Week 1 of Darnell's IDEAS prompt is "I" = Ink

Joining with challenge #85 at NBUS ... this die has been patiently waiting to be used and teamed up with some lovely patterned paper  -  you know that pile you've hardly looked at for ages

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog
I do hope you had an enjoyable Easter
Cheers Robyn

  1. Two fantastic Christmas cards Robyn. LOVE your first one with the birds in the Christmas tree. Your watercolouring is wonderful. The second card is so pretty with the dove over the gorgeous patterned paper! xx

  2. I love the whimsy and the serenity of these two cards playing nicely together, both of which are beautiful, Robyn! I have an old stamp with a pile of fat adorable birds by this same artist and it is one of my all-time favorites! Excellent coloring and well done using some pp! Thank you for inspiring everyone to use their NBUS and I'm delighted you used the I.D.E.A.S. Calendar! Hugs, Darnell
