Haven't dug into my patterned papers too often of late... but I've put together a card featuring
'polka dots' for the Just Add Ink challenge #786.
Combined two green shades of paper and a strip of polka dot embossed card as a background for my stamped, watercoloured and fussy cut flower... finished off with a stamped sentiment strip.
Then I had a play around with my Distress Oxide ink pads - swiping the whole pad across the white card - fossilized amber top to bottom, then crushed olive bottom up, followed by peeled paint --- I like the 'wispy' effect achieved. Then I used the same inks to swipe card and die cut some foliage and finished with a stamped and clear embossed sentiment.
