Merry Christmas

Hello cardmaking friends and thanks for stopping by my blog ....

Back again with another Christmas card for the Rudolph Days October challenge

A nice quick and simple card ...
  • Stamped the Holly sprig from Kaisercraft - Tis the Season set, with Peeled Paint Distress Ink, then watercoloured loosely with DI... shabby shutters, peeled paint, candied apple and for the light background stormy sky
  • Stamped and gold embossed the sentiment from Chocolate Baroque - Merry Christmas Script
  • Trimmed the panel and added a bright red card layer and attached to a white card

Have a Wonderful Creative week ....   Cheers   Robyn

Snowflake - Wishing you a Joyous Christmas

My card today is CASE-ing Stephs card (below) for the CASE-ing Christmas August challenge.  I was inspired the snowflake theme, the colour, the background embossing and the string element.  I stamped my sentiment and embossed it with white EP and then sponged over it with some distress ink to help it stand out of the red background. Attached this panel to a snowflake embossed background and tied a string bow topped with a mini button.
I am also posting to Christmas Cards All Year Round - August theme Snowflakes.

Merry Christmas

I love the challenge they suggested at CASE-ing Christmas #27 ... they want you to choose a card you've made and turn it into a Christmas card...so here's my pink floral card, now looking totally different as a Christmas card. I stamped my Santa and then masked him and stamped a Christmas verse over to sort of repeat what my floral stamp has.  I'm playing along with Jingle Belles where the theme is Silver Bells. I have this cute little bell stamp and just coloured it with a silver marker.

Wishing You a Warm & Wonderful Holiday

My Christmas card this morning is for the challenge at CASE-ing Christmas...see below the card for week #26. I have used my icicles dies to create masks over which I sprayed blue and purple mists, I also masked off a diagonal section of the panel. I also misted white cards stock and die cut three icicles which I mounted with foam tape and added gem centers. To get a matching layer I sprayed white card with the blue mist and finished the card with a sentiment and gems.  Thanks for taking a peek

Oh, Christmas Tree

This morning I checked out the Christmas challenges I like to join in with, and even found a couple of new ones...so today I continue to add to my Christmas card stash...here is no. 3.
I am posting to ABC Christmas challenge - "L" for Lyrics ....my song is Oh, Christmas Tree.
And the new challenge is at CASE-ing Christmas - see below for Ellens card we are CASEing.
I inked this very detailed tree and stamped it on DP - wasn't sure how it would turn out but I'm happy - I like the different colours. I used some Distress Ink to colour the image slightly and add some gems and the sentiment.....lucky to find this appropriate stamp from Stamplorations.
Thanks for taking a peek
