Christmas is Love......
I am happy to be adding another card to my Christmas stash.... with a 'tree' for the Christmas Crafts All Year Round - July challenge. I spritzed my die cut tree and snowflake with silver mist and added some gems. I attached a light brown metallic strip to my DP snowflake background panel and to finish stamped my sentiment in brown ink and embossed with Pearl White EP. I am also playing along with Simon Says Monday challenge - Christmas in July. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day
Happy Birthday
I was totally inspired by Stacy's lovely card (below) with her gorgeous silver embossed florals and beautifully coloured, then that fabulous die cut white on white background.... here is my Birthday card using these elements. I water coloured my image with Distress Inks and fussy cut it, arranged the image and silver embossed sentiment with foam tape and to finish added a few white pearls. I am playing along with Power Poppy - Power & Spark challenge - Inspire Me, also playing along with Seize the Birthday challenge - Anything Goes, and Happy Little Stampers July Watercolour Challenge - Optional twist Birthday.

Wishing you the Joy of Christmas
This afternoon I have a non traditional Christmas card... well I think these colours and chevrons aren't really Christmasy... I used the negative of a stencil that had been inked with Distress Inks and then spritzed with water. I decided to just go with this cool sentiment stamped in purple ink and embossed with pearl white EP. To finish I layered the panel on metallic purple card onto a cream card and added a few pearls. I am playing along with Christmas Card Throwdown - Non-Traditional Christmas and Watercooler Wednesday WWC180 - Marsha's "All About Holidays" challenge. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend
Chill out with me and an Iced Coffee
Today I have an ATC to share... stamped my image in brown ink and used Distress Inks to watercolour it and fussy cut it out. I used a brown base card with to pink layers behind my image attached with foam tape. To finish I added my own sentiment. I am playing along with Happy Little Stampers ATC July challenge - Coffee, with Stamplorations Never Ending Anything Goes challenge.

Happy Birthday
For this card I stamped and masked two flower images and embossed with White EP. Then I used Distress Inks in the 'oranges' for my Monochromatic theme - something bright and cheerful. I added a bright orange die cut sentiment and to finish as few scattered gems. I am playing along with The Flower challenge #22 - Monochromatic. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day.
Breathe.....
Today I'm using a background made with Brushos - two shades of blue.... just the tiniest amount I could sprinkle on my plastic sheet and the a good misting of water, not too much because I wanted to capture small spots of ink - then dabbed my card into this a few times. I die cut a stitched rectangle when it was very dry and stamped on my sentiment. To finish I added some sparkly spots of gold foil flakes. My card is for the CAS Watercolour July challenge - Splash Water colouring.

Merry Christmas
I just love this Poinsettia stamp and so I've made a second card for the
I stamped the image on cream card, off the page - twice and used brown Versafine ink then used Distress Inks to water colour it. For my sentiment I stamped in green ink and embossed with Pearl Gold EP - so now it looks goldish green... I love using coloured inks under Pearl EPs. To finish I added a green layer to the panel and a cream card.

Merry Christmas
The CAS Christmas challenge for July is Poinsettia.....
I started by stamping my panel with a background stamp with White EP and roughly watercolouring the flowers with different hues of red and green, then I added a die cut stitched rectangle frame. I stamped my Poinsettia flower twice with red ink and embossed with pearl white EP, water coloured the flowers and fussy cut them out. Then I stamped my sentiment and embossed with white EP and die cut it with a stitched rectangle die and watercoloured it with a wash of green. Finally arranged all the elements and used foam tape to give some depth.

Oh, Christmas Tree...
I love that Kimberley's Muse: Christmas Visions card for challenge #104 features different styles of Christmas trees, so I wanted to use this stamp from my old rubber stamps stash - I used Kaleidacolor Ink to stamp with but this was quite pale with only a fine outline, so I used the ink to softly colour some of the image. Of course then it was too pale for a white card so I've used some blue as a background layer. I stamped my sentiment in purple and embossed with pearl white EP to give a soft effect and also a mini gift in purple and blue. My Muse elements are: a variety of trees, variegated ink colours, layout and a feature in front.

Two wine bottle cards
This month really had me thinking about a 'Beverage' theme for the July #7 Twofer Card Challenge. I finally settled on a small stamp featuring a wine bottle and two glasses.
On my second card I used a stamp with a little vineyard scene - stamped and water coloured with Distress Inks on my back panel. Then I stamped my picnic basked of goodies, coloured these and fussy cut them out. I stamped on my sentiments, and dry embossed a frame and layered the card on a teal background. To finish I arranged the items in the basket and attached it with foam tape.

I made a Birthday card and a Friendship one.
For my birthday card I stamped two girl friends, and did some paper piecing and minimal colouring and fussy cut them.... the same for my wine bottle and glasses. Then I chose this old brayered background from my stash and even found this wonky frame leftover from a square die cut and positioned the girls behind it. Lastly I stamped my sentiments and arranged them in place with foam tape.

Happy Birthday
Today I am finishing off a couple cards I started over the weekend - you know those ones you're not sure if they work or not, so come back later. This is my Black and White and One other colour - Pink for the Rubber Dance July challenge and or Wings/Feathers... I dry embossed the back panel and used Hickory Smoke Distress Ink to brayer over the reverse side...so my embossing is recessed. Then I stamped my sentiment on white card and added a fine pink layer behind. To finish I added to die cut swirls in black and a pink feathered glittery mask. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day.
