Take time to smell the flowers ATCs

Next using my stencils I made a set of 3 ATCs....
First I sponged the stencils flowers with Distress Inks, then when they were dry I replaced the stencil and ran the ATCs through the Cuttlebug to dry emboss over the top - you can vaguely see that in the  bottom photo.  I sponged the edges of the ATCs, then stamped my sentiment and cut it up to spread across the three ATCs.

SEAS the day

A play on words for this ATC for the September Happy Little Stampers ATC Challenge - Ocean/Sea.  I created the background by applying three different colours of blue DO ink to white card and then using a wavy stencil used a damp baby wipe to remove the ink forming the 'waves.  Then I stamped and embossed the sentiment and attached some 'water weeds' die cut from scraps of green smooched card and finally added the stamped and silver embossed starfish that I smooched with DI and wiped clean the embossing.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy stamping.

Time .... is Important ATC

Created my ATC background using foil and and an embossing folder, then sprinkled different colored Embossing Powders and heated these and last dragged permanent black ink over the raised areas.  Then I stamped and silver embossed the fob watch and the sentiment in brown ink.  I am posting to Happy Little Stampers ATC August challenge - Time.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it, happy stamping.

 

Hello ATC

Don't you just love it when an idea pops into your head and you have all the elements...I was actually looking for a telephone but unsuccessful and then there just popped up the typewriter... which for me is even better because it's so special these days to get a simple 'hello' letter in the mail.

So I stamped the image twice and fussy cut the typewriter and lightly coloured it. Stamped my sentiment and cut it to size and lightly colour that. Sponged some colour over the background and attached to a maroon card and to finish attached my die cut my Hello -cut twice and offset.  I am playing along with Happy Little Stampers May ATC challenge - Hello.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy stamping. 

I Love You ATC

Playing along today with Happy Little Stampers March ATC Challenge...Hearts, and Simon Says Monday challenge - Miniature/Tiny Things.
ATCs for me a mini artworks and lucky for me I had some leftover background made with sprinkling Magical Micas over a stencil and lightly spritzing with water.. there is a real glitter sheen to it, the camera didn't capture.  Then I used a love script stamp to add some layers and an Eiffel Tower and Paris word. I sponged the edges and  stamped the sentiment  on a small scrap - using markers to colour the stamp.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy stamping.

 

Life is a Gift ATC

Happy Little Stampers ATC challenge for February is to use Stencils....
so today I have had some fun with Distress Oxides on shiny photographic card and a large medallion stencil, then used a baby wipe to bring up the colour.

I stamped a flower on the offcuts and used markers to colour it and fussy cut it out.  Then I printed off my quote and trimmed it to fit the ATC, and assembled all the pieces using a dark red card for the backing.

Good Style is Timeless ATC

A Vintage theme at Happy Little Stampers January ATC challenge.... first I brayered DO inks on card stock and stamped on my 'Vintage' words and some swirls.  Next I stamped my three ladies in grey ink and watercoloured them with DO and cut them out with a circle die and sponged the edges.  Lastly on a scrap of the background I stamped my main sentiment and cut it out....then assembled my ATC on green card back.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it, happy stamping

Pet ATC

Of course a cat had to feature on my ATC for the Happy Little Stampers ATC December challenge - Pets.... because there are four in our household - that's a lot yes, but the story goes - hubby and I adopted two kittens from our sons litter of Boxing Day 2013 when we lived away - he had the parents and then we moved back home in 2015, we love them all, so they stay together - they're all different colours and personalities, only draw back is cat fluff!!
So I have this old stamp in my stash and perfect for a quick black and white theme with a dash of orange.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your Christmas and New Year

 

Thanks Sew Much ATC

Well we're nearing the end of the month and Christmas cards/tags have taken up much of my time so I thought to make an ATC for Happy Little Stampers ATC November challenge SEW.  Found some DP papers and stamps with this theme and decided to use this lady - stamper her on white card, coloured in the umbrella and her flesh part and fussy cut... then stamped again on floral DP for her dress and then on tan for her hat and paper pieced them to the image.  Then stamped my sentiment, some faux stitching, sponged the edges and added a tape measure DP to the bottom, them mounted to my base tan ATC.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day.

Summer Holiday ATC

ATC time again at Happy Little Stampers - October theme is Holiday.
First I lightly coloured my sky and sand with dye inks on textured card, and stamped on my seashell and seagull.  Then I used large letter stamps for part of my Title and cut an 'S' from thick card, coloured and decorated with micorbeads.  Next I cut a strip of white zigzag corrugated card and painted the raised areas with Twinkling H2Os to represent the waves and added some microbeads too.  From my ribbon stash I used sheer ribbon with tiny blue feet which I positioned over the sand... like walking in the sand.  To finish I attahed my ATC to a blue back card, hand wrote on some words and attached a surf board trinket (only had 2 so made one of my own).  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.

Handmade with Love

For my Vintage themed ATC for Happy Little Stampers September ATC challenge I chose a 'sewing ' theme.  I stamped and fussy cut my sewing machine and thread spool card.  I wound brown cotton thread to the spool and lightly coloured the machine.  I stamped the tape measure along one side of the base panel and attached some lacey designer paper to the other and stamped some stitching lines along it too. Then to finish I stamped my sentiment on lined paper cut it out and attached it with the other elements and a row of rickrack braid and three mini buttons.  Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.


 

Let your Dreams Set Sail

My 'Water' ATC for the August Happy Little Stampers ATC challenge features a yacht - stamped in black on a scrap of gloss card with Distress Inks sponged on but because of it's gloss finish it dries rapidly so there's no blending.  I added some marker and gel pen to the image and stamped on my sentiment to finish.
