Two cards featuring Wheels

Today I have two cards for this months Twofer Card Challenge #16 - Things with Wheels.  I have used a bicycle die set for my cards...
The first card I simply die cut the bicycle parts in purple, black and silver card and then from DI smooched leftovers cut flowers and leaves.   I found this sponged and leaf stenciled experiment piece in my stash for the background panel and arranged the die cuts, then stamped on my sentiment... 'enjoy the journey', smell the flowers, take your time.

Then for my second card I thought to use the die cut wheels as lollies... so die cut them from my scraps of shiny metallic card in all colours. I stamped my jar on the front panel in green and clear embossed it, cut out the inside section, and line it with cellophane, then stamped on my sentiment.  I used foam sheet to lift the panel and attached my sweets to the card.

Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it, happy 'twofer' card making.

  2. Fabulous cards...I've been waiting for someone to turn wheels into citrus fruits...or candies. Great unconventional use.

  5. Robyn, sometimes a 50-point font and the word WOW says it all! My goodness, these are both so well executed and so charming! I love your purple and silver bicycle with that stunning background and flowers which just scream springtime! It's gorgeous!
