Today I am Thankful
The sentiment on this card couldn't be more appropriate.....
.... this time last week I was dealing with a broken leg, cast, restrictions to life upstairs for weeks ...grrrr how dumb does one feel to miss the last step....
Well it was off to the hospital for a followup and xrays yesterday..... can you believe I've come home with no cast, no moon boot and I'm able to hobble about... YES!! they were happy nothing wrong with the ankle and as it was the top of the Fibula (small leg bone) and non weight bearing - that it will mend nicely, just take care and rest it lots... YIPPEEEEEE..... so I am 'Today very thankful'.
This is a snippets card... had this already DI watercoloured gold embossed stamped sunflower in my stash and decided to cut it up. And after trying to line up the "Inchies" with a nice border, without success, thought well they can be a bit wonky like I was feeling... so arranged them on dark cream card, sponged the edge and attached to a cream card with my stamped sentiment - a stash element too.
I am playing along with CAS Mix Up September challenge - Inchies .... I think it's borderline CAS. And also with Pixie's Snippets Playground #360. Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy stamping.

Good news Robyn! For "take care and rest it lots" read - " sit for long time in the craft room and make messy"!
ReplyDeleteHappy cheery sunflower and lovely card! x
Oh good grief Robyn - that was a mix of bad but also good luck! Do still take care, Viv is right with her advice.
ReplyDeleteWonderful card too - I adore how you split up the image. It reminds me of stained glass! So pretty.

A good message for all of us and I'm so glad you got good news, Robyn! Be careful and not overdo and end up back in a cast! Love your cheerful sunflower and it works great for inchies. The wonky squares are perfect for me, LOL! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
