How is your week going??? Stuck inside maybe with the weather or is it that horrid virus? I've mostly been home and with the weather being very nice, I've been out tidying up the garden, so I'm happy and our Australian Woolies supermarkets declared 7am to 8am shop open for "oldies" to get their supplies, so with hubby's help we got the groceries this morning.
I have a few finished cards I needed to photograph, so before I got distracted today I got them all done and here's my first....
I stamped this large floral with Old Paper Distress Ink and then coloured it with my pencils.... lots of white space so I stamped some script (Milled Lavender DI) and swirls (Old Paper DI) and sponged the edge of the panel with purple chalk ink.
I found some matching textured purple card to use as a frame and die cut the sentiment from this also and attached all the elements to a white card.
I am playing along with 3 challenges --- Penny Black and More - March challenge - Spring Flowers --- AND --- Fusion Card challenge - Nature - inspired by the colours in the photo --- AND --- The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring challenge - Day 4.
Stamps: Penny Black - Gentle Whisper
Dies: CUTplorations - Big Hugs
Inks: Distress Inks - Old Paper, Milled Lavender
Other: Coloured pencils
So whimsical and I love the soft colors.
ReplyDeleteYou've done this orchid beautifully, Robyn! I love the bits of stamping to fill some of the white space!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful take on the challenge! Great job using those pencils to color! Thanks for playing over at The Fusion Card Challenge. -Laurie DT
ReplyDeleteAnother really stunning floral creation Robyn, I bought this stamp a while ago but only used it a couple of times, partly because the 'matching' die does not actually match, in fact it's much smaller than the stamp image.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining in with our 'Spring' themes at Stamping Sensations and Penny Black and More challenges this month.
