With Love

I'm loving these PB cling stamps... in florals -- for this card I used different shades of yellows and greens Distress Inks to stamp the image - and using the Misti you are able to repeat stamping until the desired colours are achieved.  I added a little white gel pen to the flower centres and finished the card with a dark brown/red border on a burnt orange card ... tying some twine and a sentiment tag to the bottom.

Big Hugs

How is your week going???    Stuck inside maybe with the weather or is it that horrid virus?   I've mostly been home and with the weather being very nice, I've been out tidying up the garden, so I'm happy and our Australian Woolies supermarkets declared 7am to 8am shop open for "oldies" to get their supplies, so with hubby's help we got the groceries this morning.

I have a few finished cards I needed to photograph, so before I got distracted today I got them all done and here's my first....

I stamped this large floral with Old Paper Distress Ink and then coloured it with my pencils.... lots of white space so I stamped some script (Milled Lavender DI) and swirls (Old Paper DI) and sponged the edge of the panel with purple chalk ink.
I found some matching textured purple card to use as a frame and die cut the sentiment from this also and attached all the elements to a white card.

I am playing along with 3 challenges  ---   Penny Black and More - March challenge - Spring Flowers   ---    AND   --- Fusion Card challenge - Nature - inspired by the colours in the photo   ---   AND   ---   The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring challenge - Day 4.

Happy Birthday

Here's my Day 1 card finished
I'll be playing catchup, but love joining in with Kathy and attempting to find time each day for some wonderful colouring

I started with a stamped image using Memento Ink - Desert Sands then coloured the image with my coloured pencils.  To finish I stamped the sentiment and layered the panel with a coral border on green card.
This is how the image looks to start -
along the same lines as Kathy used last November 30 Day challenge (here)
 - this is not the one I used which was stamped with Distress Ink Old Paper

Wishes for You

Well this is definitely my favourite stamp at the moment - I love the poppies and how it inks and stamps... so be warned there are other cards in my WIP pile, coming soon - it's actually not mine it's my friend Vikki's but fingers crossed there will be one coming to my desk soon.

I stamped the image in antique linen DI on white card and then coloured it with my trusty old colouring pencils and stamped on my sentiment (two different stamps).

This is how it looks before the pencils - it's not the one I used but you can see I stamped more than one.

To finish the card I die cut a stitched rectangle and then trimmed the panel to fit inside and then used foam sheet to mount it and then attached to a cream card base.

Here is a close up....

Have a Great Day

Some quiet time during the Christmas/New Year week to make a few cards.... here I have a floral card using a Penny Black shadow stamp - Flower Field, that I stmaped in light brown ink, then used my coloured pencils to over colour the image.... I love doing this technique.  To finish I added a white border to the stamped panel and attached to a buttercup  yellow card... finally added a stamped sentiment.  I am playing along with Penny Black & More Monthly challenge for December - theme Flowers  ....  AND  .... Watercooler Wednesday WWC252 - Marsha's Special 3 week challenge - Anything Goes.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy s.tamping

Best Wishes......

I do love Fuchsias - gorgeous combination of colours that look like bells to me... so of course I love to stamp this one I have in my stash..  This one is actually a snippet that has been waiting a few weeks after I experimented by using watercolour pencils directly onto the wet shadow stamp and then stamping onto white card.... I love how it turned out - I added to bright stamen tips and a little colour to the petals... then die cut it with a stitched rectangle die.  Next I stamped my sentiment on white card and sponged seedless grapes DO around the edge, then cut a circle in my front panel, run a pencil around the inner cut edge, then matched up the flower panel, drew the circle onto it and hand cut the section and around the leaves.  To finish I layered and attached all the elements in place and added a couple of Nuvo drops.  I am playing along with Penny Black Saturday challenge - PBSC March, Anything Goes - option Clean and Simple, also with Penny Black and More ... Monthly challenge March - Going Round in Circles.... the PB stamps I used are Chandelier, and ....every day.
I am also playing at Pixie's Snippets Playground #348.

May your day be filled with love and laughter

I've been having some fun this week making backgrounds with scrunched inked cling wrap... for this one I inked the colours in strips instead of random, and thought it would make a nice background for a 'scene' - you can see what I mean.  Then I used Distress Ink to stamp the foreground grasses and added some spots of darker pink for 'field flowers' and more blue and green with scrunched plastic for my 'field'.  I stamped on a small butterfly and my sentiment. Then to finished I coloured a die cut butterfly  with Distress Ink and added some glitter glue.  I am posting to Double "D" challenge - Things that Fly.  and to Penny Black and More March challenge - Anything Goes..... I have used the grasses stamp from the Enjoy Life set.  Thanks for taking a peek

Be the rainbow is someone else's cloud

I love my card today - it's so bright, colourful and cheery and I think the sentiment fits beautifully. The background panel was created by sopping up those leftover inks (both Distress Ink and Brushos) from my plastic mixing palette.... then I stamped mini feather stamps in Picket Fence DI and ruled a thin black line around the edge.  I stamped one of my favourite birds stamps (I love these crazy birds you can have so much fun with colours and face expressions - I gave this one little eye brows) on a scrap and coloured the image with Brushos.... then fussy cut it,  but as his feet and curls are too hard to cut I restamped the image on the back panel and positioned him on top.  Then I found these foliage die cuts in my stash - just the right colour to add and  finished off with my sentiment. I am posting to Penny Black & More February challenge - Use your favourite stamp, and to Simon Says Monday challenge - Use your favourite tool..... well it has to be my stamps and scissors - I do love stamping and like fussy cutting too.  Thanks for taking a peek
