Enjoying some time finishing off a few more cards this afternoon.... after finishing off the latest Hexie Motifs for a CAL that I've joined...
and these are last weeks.
I haven't made hexagons before so it's an interesting project
- Pink carnations... the STAMPlorations CAS March challenge - use pink and green, also NBUS Challenge #36
- Slimline card with stencilled flowers - Happy Little Stampers - March Stencil challenge, also NBUS Challenge #36
- Orange daisies - Happy Little Stampers - March Anything Goes with Dies
I die cut the elements in white card... the lattice is from Uniquely Creative and the flowers are Sizzix - Wildflower Stems #1. Watercoloured the flowers with Distress Oxides - fossilised amber, carved pumpkin, ripe persimmon, twisted citron, rustic wilderness. Chose a patterned paper from my stash and attached the elements with a stamped and clear embossed sentiment - Happy Little Stampers - Fun birthday sentiment set.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, have a Wonderful Weekend
Cheers Robyn
Love those hexie's, Robyn. It's ages since I did any crochet. Your cards are beautiful - love them all, but most of all the die cut flower

Your hexagons are awesome, Robyn!! All three flower cards are fabulous. The carnations are so pretty ... pink and green is a perfect colour combination. The bold design from your bright orange stenciled flowers is great on the slimline card. The last card (my fav!) is beautiful. I love that dotty paper and how you've picked up the colour of the orange dots to create your beautiufl daisies. The flowers are so pretty over the lattice die. Great work!! xx
ReplyDeleteI love the colors on your slimline card - so happy. All your cards are beautiful and so is your crocheting

You certainly are catching up with Birthday cards. I would be hard put to choose a favorite but if I have to then it would be the orange daisies on the polka dot background. I am admiring your crochet hexagons. I am pea green with envy over you crocheting skills - please tell me I will get there some day!!!!!
