using a very old Spellbinders scalloped circle die that I also die cut out the center to create a frame... teamed with a lovely patterned paper background. Then watercolour with Distress Inks a daisy (Sizzix - Wildflower stems) and foliage (Sizzix - Delicate leaves)
I'm also joining in with the challenge at Shopping Our Stash SOS517 - Round and Round
Second card is for the March Can You Handle the Pressure challenge
First die cut an oval in teal coloured card and then dry embossed with Kaisercraft Liberty EF - backed this with some lighter coloured card. Watercoloured with Distress Inks... some die cut flowers/stems from Sizzix Wildflower stems and arranged them through the oval opening.
Thanks for stopping by my blog
Have a most wonderful day
Cheers Robyn
This is beautiful! The yellow flowers look so pretty on the blue embossed background.

Two beautiful cards, Robyn! I love how you've colored these flowers! The first looks so pretty with the vintage looking paper and I love the bright yellow with the teal on the second!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous floral cards Robyn! LOVE the amazing watercoloured daisy on your first card. It's so beautiful inside the scalloped border circle. And I love the patterned paper you've used for the background. Your second card is also beautiful with the gorgeous texture of your embossed teal card front. The colours of the flowers really pop against that deep teal. Great work, my friend! xx
ReplyDeleteA duo of great ideas for ways to nestle in the pretty and colorful die-cut flowers we make! Love them both, Robyn! Pinning! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are so lovely ... so very glad you went *round and round* with us at Shopping Our Stash.
ReplyDeleteHi again Robyn! Two gorgeous cards here. I love the yellow wildflowers against the teal and the square one you made for us is gorgeous with the floral set off by that background paper with hints of flowers. Thank you for coming back to play at The Flower Challenge! Vicky x
