a little greeting

 It's been a while since I tackled a 10 minute Craft Dash challenge but thought I'd have a go at this weeks #13 with craft, green and brown colours....to help I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches #77.  I'm a bit rusty it took me 11 minutes 25 sec to do this one - my ricrac came unstuck as I was about to stick the layers onto the card but at least it got me going this afternoon I was feeling a bit tired after a busy day yesterday painting out the inside of the cupboards to freshen them up.  Thanks for taking a peek

  

10 Minute Craft Dash #7

  

A quick card is a great way to start the weekend :-) ... well at least putting it together was quick. I like challenging myself to the Pretty Pink Posh: 10 Minute Craft Dash #7 because sometimes you just spend toooooo much time mulling over your options... fair enough to make a 10 minute card you have to some idea of what it's going to end up looking like, so some time prior to select colour card and stamps certainly helps.  My card took me 9 minutes 35 seconds - I did have the die cut butterflies on hand from my pre-cut stash.  Thanks for taking peek and have a great weekend - it's December 1st today

10 Minute Craft Dash

 

Well you sure can make a mess of your workspace in 10 minutes...but I like this challenge at Pretty Pink Post - 10 Minute Craft Dash #6 - it takes the fussiness out of making cards not that I don't also like making layered busy cards - I do. Enough - so I picked a couple of stamps, decided I'd use die cut flowers/leaves, cut them stamped on them, stamped and embossed my sentiment, curved the corners, stamped the flourish and stuck it all together in 9 minutes 55 seconds.....then looking under the mess I saw my leaves and decided they'd just finish it all off nicely :-)

Retro Sketches, 10 minutes Craft Dash

 

    

Happy TGIF day....so my friend Vikki finished work early today and we're skyping so I'm motivated. Found this new blog challenge at Pretty Pink Posh - 10 minute craft dash #5, and thought I'd maybe give it a go. Picked this nice layout from Retro Sketches rs#34 to use with the dash colours....weelllll I didn't make it in 10 minutes got as far as the little pic - no words. Anyway in 12 I had it finished a tweeked the ribbon flower a bit. It's not impossible but you do have to have a plan and all your bits out ready. I hadn't made one of these flowers so that was the hold up (saw a tutorial on Creative Paper Trade - Ribbon Flower)
