My card this afternoon is based on the layout at Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch #88. I was just going to make a monotone card with the purply-blue bits but need to add some bling and remember my friend Vikki Ryan had used brads on her card last week and I haven't used them for.....ages!! So choosing matching brads inspired me to add some colour. I'm really pleased with the bright lift it gave to the card.  Thanks for taking a peek Robyn

Thank You Rose

 I lovely sketch today over at Paper Craft Crew #87 and I've played along making this feminine thank you card from a very old stamp I have....I like to emboss this image with pearl white embossing powder and this time over cocoa colour ink. I coloured it with twinkling H2Os and teamed it with some lovely designer paper by Kaisercraft and finished it off with a tiny ribbon and pearls.  Thanks for taking a peek Robyn

A masculine card from me this afternoon using the layout at Paper Craft Crew Sketch #81, the colours for Inspired by Stamping IBSIC #78 - White, Tan and Blue and for the Inkspirational challenge its Tic Tac Toe and I've chosen horizontally through the middle -m distressing, ribbon or lace and buttons or brads (my ribblon is embroidery thread), I've distressed all my edges and tiny blue buttons finish it off.  Thanks for taking a peek, hope you're having a wonderful weekend, Cheers Robyn

 Hello this sunny Saturday. Today I've made a swing card for a little girls birthday - all bright and pink, dots, flowers and butterflies.   Hi there, so I've been able to finish off another card this afternoon for the PaperCraft Crew Card Sketch #74 and I'm really enjoying using some 'pretty shades' of card away from Christmas traditional colours. Was going to leave the chevrons off until I  remember this border die I have and I think the curve matches with the feminie card.  Thanks for taking a peek  Robyn

Wwaaaay out of my comfort zone with these colours especially for a non male card.....but I think it looks ok. I wanted to try white embossing on light brown/kraft too and think I may have selected a better stamp to use. I've used the layout at Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch #56. Thanks for taking a peek

G'day Friend

"G'day"  now isn't that truly Australian...we shorted everything, mostly.

Along with the sketch at Paper Craft Crew Cards #46 this week they asked for a Patriotic theme - so for me this Golden Wattle stamp from Flourishes would be very appropriate; the wattles are coming into bloom across the country just now creating a mass of yellow through the bush.

Birthday Greetings

  

This card has just come together for me as I searched through my collection of pre-cut dies and scraps...I wanted to do a card for the Scrapbook Boutique colour challenge for January - gorgeous Lemon and Lime and I've teamed it with the layout at Paper Craft Crew card sketch #26. Layered it all on this super embossed background and topped it with a layered daisy.
