I've enjoyed a lazy day today and slowly this afternoon this card came together - so slowly that I've missed posting it to the Colour Throwdown CTD232 challenge anyway I've used the soft colours and the layout at Retro Sketches rs#54 .... I'm not liking the colours on my new camera though mmmm have to ask my son about it. Thanks for taking a peek.

Friends
AND include at least one piece of METAL EMBELLISHMENT.
I decided to do the challenge at Our Creative Corner because I just love the lantern in the inspirational photo - my photo colours are out a bit as my patterned paper is more green than blue. I love the metal button I found in my stash and the sentiment is true... new town, a place to meet new friends. Hope you're enjoying your week and thanks for taking a peek.

Celebrate your Birthday
Shopping Our Stash Challenge 92: Border Punches
Hello from me this Monday morning ....moving day today - we've found a house to rent in Yeppoon, QLD and until our furniture arrives we will live in the van at the property...yippee!!!
So my card this morning fills four challenges..
First the layout from Seize the Birthday STB#9 and the colours from Dynamic Duos DD#43
And over at Shopping Our Stash 92 - Border Punches - last night I was thinking about making a dress using the border dies and a heart cutout - so I layered them up with some ribbon and finished the top off with some bling .... the request at a new blog challenge site for me - Craft your Passion challenge 152 asked you to use an odd number of embellishments...and here's my feminine birthday card with a background created with Shabby Shutters and Broken China distress inks.
Have a super week and Thanks for taking a peek

Shopping Our Stash Challenge 91: Tag it- create a tag or use one on your project!
Hi from my tiny table, sheltering in here (the caravan) from the terrible wind outside at least the rain has eased....and I'm so pleased to have found some mojo - today the colours and sketch came together for me and I've have this shabby kinda tag card. Used the layout at Retro Sketches rs#53 and the palette from Color Throwdown CTD231. And over at Shopping Our Stash #91they asked for a tag so I used a tag as my focal point and dressed it up with some handmade flowers and lace. Thanks for taking a peekFriday, 1 March 2013
