Shopping Our Stash Challenge 86: Use Your Oldest Ribbon

A second card today using background card I made with my distress inks - love the bright colours and it just so happened that I did have a very old piece of coppery coloured ribbon to match so I could play along with the Shopping Our Stash challenge #86.  I used the layout PP130 from the Paper Player sketch this week. Thanks for taking a peek.

Birthday Greetings

This card has just come together for me as I searched through my collection of pre-cut dies and scraps...I wanted to do a card for the Scrapbook Boutique colour challenge for January - gorgeous Lemon and Lime and I've teamed it with the layout at Paper Craft Crew card sketch #26. Layered it all on this super embossed background and topped it with a layered daisy.

Seize the Birthday, Inspired by Stamping

  IBSIC#42
Well this afternoon I'm a little late to post on the colour challenge at Inspired by Stamping #42 - but I love the colours so I'm still including it for my inspiration for my feminine card for the Seize the Birthday STB#3 challenge.  Thanks for taking a peek.

Sunshine Birthday

Lovely bright colours on the Annabelle Stamps colour challenge ac154 caught my eye to use this distressed ink background I'd previously created and so I teamed it up with the appealing layout at Retro Sketches re#47 this week. I used the die to emboss the shape into the sentiment panel.  Thanks for taking a peek
PS this pic doesn't do the colours justice - it's a very sunshiny, shimmery light background

White Swirl Best Wishes

White with a Decorative Edge

Hi there today from sunny Queensland - well it's not sunny it's been pouring rain all day and the yard is flooded - talk about tropical weather, this is the side affects from a small cyclone that crossed the coast 450kms north of here.  I'm not really complaining we can do with the rain - but I can't garden so the next best thing is to get out my stamping gear once again and set up temporary work space on the dining room table.  I've made an all white card today for the Our Creative Corner challenge - embossed a panel, cuts some swirls and a decorative edge and rolled a couple of flowers. I stamped the sentiment in charcoal and embossed with pearl white to soften the effect. Thanks for taking a peek

Special day Wishes

My card this afternoon started with me make a long card for the CAS-ual Friday CFC86 challenge, then I combined it with the colours at JUGS172 - gorgeous Lime Green, Grey and White and the Chuppa's lovely layout at Sketchbook Saturday #88.
We four had a super weekend creating at Vikki's and I just want to thank her for sharing her space with us - it's a cheery room where we were able to spread out and feel at home, bounce our ideas of each other and share our stuff, looking forward to our next stamp weekend.
