Two Cards Featuring Circles

Time for some more fun over at
Twofer Card Challenge #28 - Circles/Bubbles.
I have chosen to use a Circles die for my two different cards...

For the first card I die cut the circles using a background piece from my stash - black gloss card with Marvy Markers... I backed this with dull gold card and managed to cut four circle through this too so the blue of the card would show through.  Stamped the seahorse on gold holographic card (an old Christmas bon-bon) with permanent black ink and fussy cut this out.  To finish I stamped and clear embossed the sentiment and added a few sequins

With the second card I went CAS, using white card to die cut the circles and backing this with a background piece made with alcohol inks.  I die cut the 'Hello' too and stamped 'friend' in red ink.  Trimmed the panel and used red card to frame it on a white card.

With my first Seahorse card - I am also playing along with The Watercooler Wednesday WWC276 - Marsha's Challenge : Anything Goes with a Masculine Twist

  1. What amazing cards Robyn - great use of the die on both cards!! Love that you cut through to the blue layer in the first card, and that glossy card certainly made a stunning panel - the red and white is so striking in the second card.

  11. Two beautiful cards using this die, Robyn! Love your first one with the dramatic colours on top of the gloss black card. Gorgeous! Your seahorse is awesome with this design. Your second card has lovely colouring in the background with the white card front. I really like how you've used the circle die to cut randomely through two layers for your first card, and left in some of the circles with your second. Great designs Robyn!
