My last card for the weekend using the layout at Retro Sketches rs#50 and the lovely feminine colour inspiration at Inspired by Stamping #46. The gorgeous dainty designer paper inspired me and the tiny pink flower braid kept with the feel. Thanks for taking a peek....have a super week

Estelle's birthday card
Well overnight I've been busy making a special card for a Estelle - a very crafty lovely friend whose birthday is tomorrow
So some thought went into this creation - she loves black and white so I figured to start with a black box and then when you open the lid ouy pops a beautiful splash of colour with the flowers and butterflies. I'm really happy with the result (thank you Monika for you inspiration - check out her lovely work here.
I'm going to post on a new blog challenge site for me - Allsorts challenge - week 194, Things with Wings.
Thanks for taking a peek

Live Longer
On a roll now that the internet has stopped playing up...we're having a nice cooler drizzly day today but that's what's possibly messing up with the connection. Anyway this card is for Seize the Birthday STB#6 - a male card. Once again I've used a new embossing folder from X cut tri-boss. Thanks for taking a peek.
TIme Flies
So hello at loooong last - been a few weeks and I've been busy in the garden but on top of that no inclination to make a card or two, so I'm happy to be sharing Vikki's room this weekend as it will be my last for some time - the big move to Rockhampton will be happening on Feb 25.
Once again I've missed the dead line to post on Unscripted Sketches #197 but it has worked well for my male birthday card today.

Pleated Medallion Happy Birthday
My last card today is using the gorgeous colours - Fuschia, Sprout and Canary at this weeks
Play Date Cafe challenge #167. I also wanted to try making a pleated medallion using two scallop edged circle die cuts, scoring them through and accordion folding each, with one radius cut and joining the two together - it worked just beautifully and quite easy. It was lovely to spend my time today with friends Vikki and Estelle - we each inspire the other and it's great to have company ...thanks ladies. Thanks also for taking a peek
with Love
Well after missing last week's deadline, I'm making sure to have my card posted for the Inspired by Stamping Inspiration challenge IBSIC#44 - I love the picture and as I'd been working with pink on my last card I carried on and made some texture for my tag and die cut piece - used distress ink colours Fired Brick, Victorian Velvet and Spun Sugar sprayed over with Perfect Pearl Mist. The layout is for Freshly Made Sketches #71 - I'm not a real Valentines person so turned it into a birthday card.

The Best is yet to Come
I can't believe I did this again and missed the post time at Inspired by Stamping Inspiration challenge #43 - anyway I really like the colours and using the layout at Annabelle Stamps sketch ac155 I've come up with something a fair bit different - I inked the embossing folder with distressed ink and sprayed it with water before running it through the machine and used some corner scraps to make the bling shape that ended up looking a bit like a butterfly. Thanks for taking a peek
