Have a Sunshine Day

Today I used a silhouette leaf stamp and cut a circle mask to create a window on the panel to accommodate the sentiment..  I use Distress Oxide inks in orange, yellow, green and purple randomly stamped round the circle... and a few extras that I fussy cut.. Then stamped and gold embossed the sentiment and drew around the circle edge and gold embossed that and a few lines on the edges of leaves.
I am playing along with Power Poppy Creative Confetti - Feeling Fall  .... AND .... with The Paper Players PP461 Tic-Tac-Toe challenge  - using left vertical : Fall, orange, leaves.

Home Sweet Home

I sent my mum this card on her return home having been away for 9 weeks recovering from a broken leg.... and not living nearby to bring her a bunch of flowers I thought this card would brighten her days.
Stamped the image in grey ink and used pencils to watercolor it.   Then for something different die cut a stitched frame and positioned the stamped panel at an angle... to finish added a stamped sentiment.  I am playing along with Watercooler Wednesday WWC#240 - Kath's "All About Occasions" challenge.

Warm & Wonderful Christmas

I had stamped a couple of extras of this 'figgy pudding' stamp recently ... used pencils to watercolour it and then smudged in some colour to create a spotlight effect (looks better in real life)  then found some holly Christmas DP and cut a window to frame the image.  To finish I attached a stamped sentiment.  I am playing along with Rudolph Days September challenge....

With Love and Best Wishes

Something I haven't made for quite a while is an interactive card and when I popped over the Butterfly Challenge #129 - Spin The Butterfly Wheel with M for Magic Window Card.
I was immediately intrigued with this card shape  and of course had to give it a go... the inside movement is pretty clever... I loosely followed the instructions and also used Magnolia, Mandarin and Mint, and the required Butterfly.
Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it... happy card making.

On Your Birthday

I seem to be on a roll this week - I wonder why I always find the mojo towards the end of the month - at least ones that come together not disasters.  So this stamped image watercoloured with DI in blue and yellow really started off as another card - awful... but today I combined it was some smooched blue and yellow inchies for a birthday card.  I used the leftovers from a die cut to frame the image and added a silver embossed stamped sentiment.
I am playing along with CAS Mix Up September challenge - Inchies ...   And  ...  CAS Watercolour September challenge - Complementary Colours  .

Merry and Bright

It seems I'm in the Christmas card making mood lately... today I've another with the Theme - Scandinavian Holiday over at Christmas Kickstart challenge #19.
So I have this one stamp that seems a bit Scandinavian so used it to create a border stamped in brown ink on the front of a kraft coloured card.  Then hand cut myself a sweater in textured cream card and used the stamp to add a pattern in brown ink as well.  To finish I stamped the sentiment in brown and clear embossed on a fawn label.
I am also playing along with The Rainbow Card challenge #9 - Beautiful Brown.
Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it, happy to be adding to my Christmas card stash.

Peace on Earth

Last card for the weekend... a Christmas one for the Jingle Belles Rock challenge - Peace on Earth.  From my stash I used the background panel - smooched DI overlaid with a spotty stencil using Versamark dusted with Pearl Pigment Powder.  I stamped the sentiment in Purple and heat embossed with Pearl White EP, the framed the panel with teal card.  To finish I die cut a dove that has an embossed swirl on it and used a silvery gelly roll pen to lightly outline it.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy Christmas card making.

Sew Happy For You Tag

As I was making this tag, memories came back of me as a child sewing buttons on scraps of fabric... mum was a dressmaker and had a lovely old tin full of buttons - what a treat search through to contents and along side the loose buttons were old fashioned button cards - so beautiful....so I fashioned my tag for the Tag You're It #96 challenge on this.  Found some gorgeous DP for the background and some matching blue buttons in different sizes and stitched these on... then stamped on the sentiment and attached some blue cord through the fancy die cut tag top.
I am also playing along with Stamplorations TAGplorations October Summer 2019 challenge - Anything Goes with a tag.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy stamping
