Day 25 of the Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge

I did find time early this morning before the rest of the family stirred from their beds to add a little bit of pencil colouring to this stamped image .... not sure how this is going to end up with being stamped half off the panel - the half of that big flower doesn't look right....but we'll see.  Day 25 of the Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge... I'm a few days behind but there's a few free days coming up.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it...happy colouring

Day 25 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags

I just so happen to have a couple of gnomes in my stamp collection so couldn't resist the inspiration from Joyce with her cute tags...  Day 25 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags... last day I can't believe I managed to join in each day... such fun Tracey thank you and all the sponsors for their daily inspiration.

Day 24 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags

A simple tag today for Day 24 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags... I don't really have cutsie stamps so I  was inspired to use just white and one colour with Joyce's tag... die cut my panel and backed it onto a red tag and then stamped the sentiment on a die cut circle with another die cut in glitter gold card and finished off the tag with a gold ribbon.

With Love at Christmas

Got a bit side tracked from my desk this week - but huge cheers because I got my 20 overseas Christmas cards written up and sent off.... whoopie.
And then today I've had the two little missies-  Granddaughters over for a few hours while mum and dad attended work Christmas parties... So I figured they could make a Christmas wreath of their own to hang on their bedroom doors...purple ones with a fair bit of help from Nanny....and an extra one for their big step sister who'll be with them for Christmas.

Anyway I did get to finish off a card for the new Butterfly Challenge #133 Spin the Wheel with X - for Guess Who? .... (no butterflies needed this month)... I have a Gnome

I used a stencil monoprint for the night sky background, added some die cut homes and snow slopes and then my stamped gnome - came with a die so helps heaps with the fussy cutting.  To finish I added two stamped sentiments.   I am also playing along with Just Us Girls Wild Card Week #516 - Anything Goes.   Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy stamping

Butterfly Challenge

Bloom Wildly on your Birthday

Some posting catchup this afternoon.... finished off another card with a little bit of colouring on the gold embossed stamped flowers, then used an embossing stylus to trace around an oval die to create a window in which to stamped and gold emboss the sentiment.  It was a bit flat so I smooched in some light purple pencil around the outside.  To finish the card I gave it a fine purple border onto a white card and added a glittery gold butterfly and a few white Crystal Drops.  I am playing along with Day 24 of the Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring Challenge.   Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy colouring.

Day 23 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Lindsey's sparkly green tree inspired me to die cut my layered tree in green metallic card and top it with a sparkly silver star.  I attached this with foam tape to a PP tag along with the sentiment banner and tied on some silver ribbons.... Day 23 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags .  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy tag making

Day 22 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags

My tag for Day 22 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags was inspired by Ashlea --   I stamped the script in Versamark on my white tag and dusted gold Pearlex over it.  Thend die cut my sentiment in red card glued these to white glitter card and fussy cut them out...  to finish the tag, tied on some gold ribbon.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy tag making

9 Christmas cards from one Designer Paper Page

Recently I've seen quite a few examples on Pinterest using one sheet of 12x12 to create up to 14 cards - so I challenge myself to give it a go... seeing as I have a multitude of 12x12s to choose from.
I managed 9 cards and used a few of my dies to create the sentiments.... the trickiest part was that my page was designed for one way and not to view sideways and then to match the red of the poinsettia flowers and the off white background, hence some I got to use some of the plain 12x12 pages too.

I am  playing along with Rudolph Days November challenge..    Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it -  happy Christmas card making, I hope you've made a good stash over the year and now it's time to write them and get them posted.

Day 21 of 25 Days of Christmas Tags

Carol made these super cut snow globe tags for Day 21 at 25 Days of Christmas Tags... so I put my hand to creating my own globe from different dies, backed the globe with patterned paper and added some glittery snow at the bottom. I stamped, coloured and fussy cut the reindeer and gave him a sparkly red nose cut from the same red glitter card as the base and tag top. To finish I added silver stars to the base and silver tie.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy tag making

25 Days of Christmas Tags - Day 20

Today my tag is inspired by Ardyth's tag for Day 20 at 25 Days of Christmas Tags.. I die cut my tag and smooched it in Antique Linen DI and then used Versamark and Pearlex with a marble stamp to add detail.  I die cut two sprigs and smooched them in different green DI and then from red smooched scarp cut the berries  To finish my tag I stamped on the sentiment and attached the sprigs with a die cut bow.  Thanks for visiting, I really appreciate it - happy tag making

Two Holiday Greenery Cards

This month is going so crazy fast...only a week left...wow
Anyway I did find time - just - to make two cards for the Twofer Card Challege #22 - Holiday Greenery....  I decided to use this sprig ------

I made a square card with a wreath and the second card as a Christmas tree.

For my wreath I stamped the sprig in four shades of green Distress Oxide Ink in a circle and then added a die cut sentiment in sparkly gold over a layer of vellum.  To finish I added a border of sparkly gold onto a white card.

Then for the tree I masked the bottom of white card and sponged blue ink for the background then I stamped the sprig in two shades of green Distress Ink in the shape of a tree. I discovered I had some mini ornaments, so randomly stamped and gold embossed them and then added colourful gems to them.  To finish I stamped and gold embossed the sentiment and used gold card to created a border onto a green card.
