Happy Easter

Had some fun combining stamps, on a watercolour wash background, stamped over with a few stems of  an inked shadow floral stamp and grass, and then coloured my flower pot bunnie with Distress Oxides, then stamped and clear embossed my fussy cut eggs. To finish I stamped on my sentiment and layered onto dull orange card and a purple card.  I am playing along with Shopping Our Stash #346 - Here comes Peter Cottontail/Easter.   Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

This wicker basket has been in my stash for a very long time... today it has become my Easter Egg Basket... I stamped it in brown and clear embossed onto beige card and fussy cut it.  Then I used an oval and a round die to cut my spotty eggs from hand made paper.  My background panel is a piece of designer paper and I stamped on my sentiment, and used foam tape to arrange my basket and eggs.  I am Inspired by the soft coloured speckled eggs at Just Add Ink #400 challenge and am also posting to Simon Say Monday challenge - Easter /Spring and Simon Says Wednesday challenge - Easter.

Darn it all, I've just missed posting my card to the House Mouse and Friends challenge HMFMC #261 - got sidetracked in my garden this morning...and you wouldn't believe it, got the card finished then somehow my camera was in video mode and I couldn't get it off, so ended up using my phone and emailing to myself.... well it does happen.
PS - you wouldn't believe it but in all the rush I was trying to post my card to #260 challenge of course it's closed, so my card made it by a few minutes.
I didn't have any 'bunnies' for my card so cut a silhouette for a border inspired by a catalogue border I'd seen. Then used an oval and round die to cut my egg base and covered it with foil wrapper from last years egg, added a strip of washi tape and a bow, then balanced my house mouse friend on top. To finish I added my stamped sentiment.

I stamped my cutest bunny hug stamp in brown onto a panel of designer paper with a tree up one side (one of those papers you always wonder 'what am I going to do with this'... well I thought it worked well with the stamp.  I used pencils to colour the image and sponged the edge before I layered it on a matching panel and a dark card.  To finish I stamped the sentiment using two different stamps sponged the edge and 3D mounted it to the card.  I am posting to Simon Says Monday challenge...Hip Hop.  I think the grand daughters will love it along with a few mini eggs.
