Happy Happy Birthday
I once figured as you got older time would slow down... nope, not even when you've stopped working. So I'm pushing time again to finish and post my House Mousse card for challenge HMFMC263 - I've chosen Anything Goes this fortnight. Stamped, embossed and coloured my image then used a stitched die to cut out the panel. Used some bright cheerful DP for the background and framed that with bright pink paper on a white card. Added a bit of decoration - some die cut corners and then a die cut 'Happy' and finally a stamped sentiment which I attached with foam tape. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your weekend.

Joy in Life
Whoopie, made my HM card this challenge in the first week not at the very last minute. I stamped my image with brown ink and used coloured pencils to colour it....that's the easy bit. I eventually decided to go with a pale pink layer and that grew into a lattice frame... with a bit of wangling I managed to enlarge the frame by part die cutting it and moving the die so it fit with the lattice, turning it around and through the machine half way again, the fit was just perfect for my cut down image panel. Then I stamped my sentiment in Pearl Gold EP and die cut with a label die and threaded some ribbon through the holes. I die cut some leaves and arranged a paper flower and buds with a bow in the corner. I am playing along at House Mouse and Friends challenge HMFMC #22 - Optional theme Ribbons or Bows. And also Southern Girls Challenge - Team Lou - Diecuts. Thanks for visiting and enjoy your day

Happy Easter
Darn it all, I've just missed posting my card to the House Mouse and Friends challenge HMFMC #261 - got sidetracked in my garden this morning...and you wouldn't believe it, got the card finished then somehow my camera was in video mode and I couldn't get it off, so ended up using my phone and emailing to myself.... well it does happen.
PS - you wouldn't believe it but in all the rush I was trying to post my card to #260 challenge of course it's closed, so my card made it by a few minutes.
I didn't have any 'bunnies' for my card so cut a silhouette for a border inspired by a catalogue border I'd seen. Then used an oval and round die to cut my egg base and covered it with foil wrapper from last years egg, added a strip of washi tape and a bow, then balanced my house mouse friend on top. To finish I added my stamped sentiment.
I am also playing along with Addicted to Stamps and More - Holiday challenge #283.

Love letters....
"love is in the air" with Valentine's Day soon, so there's lots of challenges with 'hearts'. I have turned my 'Muzzy signing a card' House Mouse stamp into a love letter card... I wonder 'Do friends write love letters' these days, actual hand written love letters or cards, that's one aspect of technology I don't like. I created the background panel with Brushos - sprinkle, spray and dab off. Then I watercoloured my image with Distress Inks and die cut the panel. And to finish I die cut a large scribble heart and a heart border, and used the cut outs for 'Muzzy' to use as stickers.
I am posting to House Mouse and Friends HMFMC#258 - option Love. Also to Shopping Our Stash - He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not, Happy Little Stampers Feb Watercolour challenge - optional twist: Heart and CAS-UAL Fridays CFC192 - Hearts, Hearts and more Hearts.

Wishing you a Magical Christmas
My third card as guest designer for House Mouse and Friends challenge has a Christmas Winter theme .... as I write this it is stinking hot and humid here in Queensland, Australia and the thought of snowy fun at Christmas would be wonderful.
I thought these cute 'sledding' mice were having so much fun that they should be sharing it with a few friends. So I stamped up four images and water coloured them with leftover ink on my plastic sheet. then fussy cut them. The fifth image I stamped straight onto the middle of my tri-folded card. I added some white glitter to their caps. Then I sponged in some pale blue sky and used foam to to arrange the images on the snow slope.
Lastly I stamped my sentiments and used a stitched die to cut them out and arranged some green pine foliage from my leftover stash and added some sparkly snowflakes. It needed a frame so I mounted the panel on red card. I am also posting my card to Muse: Christmas Visions #90 - Festive Holiday card. Thanks for taking a peek

May the Music of Christmas Warm your Heart
House Mouse and Friends are a favourite 'cute' image I really like to use.... so with the theme for challenge HMFMC#254 - "Frosty" I thought this image just right.
I stamped and embossed the image and then coloured it with Distress Inks. I left the snowmen blank so I could paint them with glue and then add heaps of sparkly white glitter. Then to frame my image I used some double sided tape on white card and cut out some snowy icicles, peeled off the protective and added more sparkly glitter. I used some green card to frame all of this on a cream card. To finish I added some colour with a die cut red glitter swirl alongside my stamped sentiment.
Thanks for taking a peek ..... please pop over to House Mouse and Friends and join in the fun.

Santa Claus is Coming to Town
I think one of the activities we all may find trying - is the wrapping of the presents, somehow here it is always left to the last minute... maybe it's time for a change and for me to have them wrapped and under the tree a week before Christmas...just like these mice. The House Mouse and Friend challenge this fortnight is 'Preparing for Christmas'
I simply stamped and coloured my image in Distress Inks and decided to make all the ribbons silver.. with two different gel pens. Then I sponged in the background with DI. I used Distress Oxides in three greens to create a variegated panel from which to die cut my pine foliage. I arranged these to create an 'under the tree' feel and cut a white border to frame the image. Lastly I stamped my sentiment and roughly cut it out and used foam tape to attach it with a last sprig of pine. Thanks for taking a peek.

Halloween
At House Mouse and Friends challenge HMFMC#251 this fortnight the theme is Halloween. No stamps on this theme so I resorted to cutting a pumpkins shape from orange card, cut eyes, nose and mouth and added some shading with pencils. Then I stamped, coloured and fussy cut two mice from my stamps and positioned them in the face openings. To finish I mounted this to a black card and drew on a sparkly silver spider web with gel pen and added a stamped spider. I am also posting to Double 'D' challenge - Fright Night. Best Wishes
Being me, I always like to tackle to optional themes on challenges, so this week at House Mouse and Friends challenge #HMFMC250 the theme is School Days.... well no stamps in my stash directly related to this theme, but I found this cute one of Muzzy signing a card... would be just fine. I stamped the background alphabets with a set by leaving them all in place on the plastic sheet and inking it in a few ink shades. Stamped, coloured and fine cut out my image and hand wrote in the message... So I could use the card I stamped a sentiment (best wishes) and layered it on a label tag and used paper clips to hold it in place. After I layered the background on two shades of card I smooched the edges and decided to used a band across the card on which the mouse image could sit. I am also going to post to Addicted to Stamps challenge #153 - Stamp a Background and to The Daily Marker 30 Day Colouring challenge. Thanks for taking a peek
