Mojo 207, Our Creative Corner

Hi happy card makers, here's my card for the MojoMonday challenge this week and also for Our Creative Corner - Not Big on Pink challenge (although I'm too late to add it to their blog)...I liked the colour combination they suggested. I also used my Twinkling H2O's to create the soft background and actually added some stitching - a first for me....mmm now do I leave my sewing machine set up on the dining room table!! :)     Have a super week and a big hello to my stamping  friend Vikki and her family who are holidaying in Europe.

Less is More challenge 1000 (card 5)

Another Christmas card, the Less is More challenge has me on a roll tonight, but I must stop now. I've had fun and added quite a few cards to my Christmas pile.

Less is More challenge 1000 (card 4)

For these easy Christmas cards I stamped the image with watermark VersaMark and dusted Duo Red-Blue Inference powder - I love the shimmery effect and I'm using products I've had in my kitty for years. Thanks again for taking a peek.

Less is More challenge 1000 (card 3)

I'm on a roll with my twinkling H2O's - just swirled a yellow and orange oval and stamped and embossed my ornament over it. I like this cheery bright card and think I'll try a few other colours and maybe add some bling. Thanks for taking a peek.

Less is More challenge 1000 (card 2)

Here's another simple quick card - brush swipes of twinkling H2O and an outline stamp.

Less is More challenge 1000

This weeks Less is More challenge is Anything CAS Goes. This is a colourful card but still along simple lines. Thanks for taking a peek.

August Lily Pad Cards challenge

I'm on a roll today....must be because we're having a skype stamp camp - 5 ladies are all being creative at Vikki's place in Townsville and I'm propped up on the ironing board at the end of the table. Vikki suggested we do last months colours from Lily Pad Cards - aqua, hot chocolate and lipstick red - here my house mouse card..stamped in brown I'm not so sure about...what do you think. Thanks for taking a peek.

Our Creative Corner, Lily Pad Cards challenges

OCC challenge was to stamp on our designer papers to create something new and totally different...here's my card which I am also posting on Lily Pad Cards site for their September challenge and I have chosen to use tangerine and autumn flavoured card...check out their blog here http://www.lilypad.inlinkz.com

Crazy 4 Challenges C4C103

This C4C theme was 'Back to School' and I made this card as a remembrance to writing with a pen, pencil, nib whatever...I love to receive letters and cards in the post and I think it's a dying art...go crafty card makers.

Less is More challenge: week 31 - colour metallic

This is a darkish card but the bright pink metallic stands out. The background card is stripped black and gold metallic hence I took two photos to show this. Thanks for taking a peek, and have a lovely week.

I have changed my photos to try and improve the metallic look...thanks Chrissie

RobVik challenges - 16 and 18

Well this card just evolved...not sure where it came from it's so dark and so not me, but I do like the colours and thanks Vikki for suggesting the designer card we had on hand. We found these colours on the net and the card recipe is an old Less is More. Thanks for taking a peek.

Mojo 206

I like the soft colours of this blue card...now need to make some envelopes...Vikki and I had a giggle as we tried to make them on our new Martha Stewart score boards.

Can't believe I just did that - it's Monday morning...and I made this little circle card with the bits left scattered all over my desk from the weekend- the blues are soft and I found this gold flower trinket in my stash 'cause none of the other flower bits worked and I love it...just in time to add it to the Mojo site - 10 minutes to go..sometimes it has it's advantages to live in Australia. Thanks for taking a peek.

Our Creative Corner, Less is More, Creative 4 Challenges 102

Hi happy stampers, it's Saturday once again and also a new month - I have made this card for my husbands birthday next Sunday and it fits into three challenges: OCC using Black, Grey and Red, C4C a male card, and Less is More -- Take 3 Challenges where you get to choose 3 from any of the previous 29 challenges....so I went back to 1-10 challenges and used week 6- one layer and off the edge, week 7- masculine, week 9- a touch of red, week 10- one layer and sentiment. I did have a couple of goes at this one as the squares are made with ink pads and the sentiment stamped and embossed with black powder so I had to be sure to use my talc pad to help with the tiny dots of black embossing powder. Thanks for taking a peek...happy stamping
Well I missed posting this one on the Less is More challenge...oh well!!!!
