Here is the card I've made for Februarys CCC which is hosted by Deborah over at Society of Stampaholics. I have used the colours and layout for my design - combining a distress inked background with die cut leaves and tiny flowers and a hand made flower. Finished off with a sentiment strip and tiny silver pearls. Thanks for taking a peek

Friday Smiles
A busy time and lots of progress on the house this week, so we are extremely happy.... Tuesday the beams and trusses were hoisted into place with a crane
and today the roof was prepared with batons, fascias and gutters ready for the roofing on Monday.
also during the week the insulation was installed and all going well the cladding will go on the walls tomorrow...yes they are working on Saturdays.
Here's my "funny" for a chuckle this week
AND OOOOH don't I just enjoy a long hot, sudsy soak in the bath!!! Do you??
Have you a happiness to share this week, join in over at Annies Blog
Enjoy your weekend, cheers

happy happy happy birthday
Here's my cheerful happy happy happy birthday card for the Stamplorations February CASEplorations challenge - inspired by the lovely card by Anita. I created the background card with Magical Mica Mist - love the bright colours. Triple die cut the word Happy and stamped the Birthday sentiment...the hardest part is collecting all the small cutouts and gluing them in place. Thanks for taking a peek
A Gift for You
Well I've been looking forward to some me time so today I hid myself away with my crafty stuff and have some fun. My first card is for the Inspired by ... All the Little Things #3 photo challenge.... I interpreted the tiered cake to make a card with the Easy Triple Time technique but instead of layering each piece I embossed the edges with pearl gold. I stamped, coloured and rough cut the image and finished with a stamped sentiment. Thanks for taking a peek

Friday Smiles
Down the side they've just started to extend out from the existing rooms - two rooms in the area will be increased in size.
This section out the back is a complete new bedroom, study and ensuite.
We have been up bright and early three mornings this week to paint the exterior cladding - we got and system going with the painting and only worked a few hours in the morning before it got too hot.
Then this afternoon it was so very hot we invited ourselves over to our friends place for a lovely cool off in their pool.
Here's my favorite pic for the week... little Mia on the floor with their cat Luna...who loves to give kitty cuddles (head rubs) to Mia.
and ... we've been trying to get a few pics of the sisters together to send to the great grandparents - here's a pretty cute one of Sophie and Mia
So this week even though we've had a few 'moments' with the building, overall I'm amazed and pretty happy with the fact that we are actually doing this build.
How has your week been? please join in at Annies blog and share your happy moments.
Thanks for dropping by and do enjoy your weekend, cheers

Just for You
Today I am finishing off another card in progress - for Inspired by All the Little Things #2.
These summery colours of the inspiration photo suited this floral stamp from IBS - then a simple layering onto patterned paper and die cut to form a frame.

Thinking of You
I have decided to join in with Lesley's new segment called Inspired by ...All the Little Things.
I have to agree with her that my style has been evolving and changing and I suppose I'm a bit confused about my style now BUT I do know that I love florals and making cards with layers and embellishments - ribbons and flowers and bling. So here is my card for #1 inspired by the lovely blue and white bedroom scene - this is an open ongoing feature so you can join in anytime...

Friday Smiles
Hello there this fine Friday - I'm all ready to share my smiles for this
Not lots happened this week in the back yard just the cross bracing on the lower steel work - this is essential here in the tropics being a cyclone region.
But some of the exterior cladding has arrived and we went shopping for paint so that is our task for next week.
Also arriving today are the roof trusses and they have been unloaded onto the nature strip.
This morning hubby and I got busy removing the old carpet and hardboard underlay to expose the old tongue and grove floor - but alas although some are in good condition SOME are not - you can't see the holes and big gaps. You might not though the wall on the right showing the framework and timber lining boards for the wall in the adjacent room - not much to these old homes but that will be clad with plasterboard.
My happy for this week though is my pic of Sophie and her friend (and her mum and me) having a Teddy Bears Picnic lunch indoors - note the bears got the crusts.
Hope you've enjoyed your week and had plenty to smile about - please share over at Annies blog and thanks for taking a peek

Our back deck is being extended and over to the right the tall poles are an extension to included a bedroom, study and ensuite.
Here we have the bearers for the floor on the side extension - we are lengthening our lounge and converting the second bedroom into a main bedroom
And here is a funny I found on FB... for you sewing ladies.
Hope you've had a wonderful week with some special happiness, pop on over to Annies blog and share.....Thanks for stopping by
